Won’t you get slapped by google for duplicate content?
– If you only extract articles from article dashboard and have no original content on your sites, they will not show up in google. Hoverever, you could always promote it with articles since they will show up.

As far as I have tried, they work normal and search engines don’t recognize it any different way. I have seen many people do it and it works like charm. But to be sure, you would have to check with some SEO expert.
