Last week I blogger about 10 Things you can blog on weekends. I have decided to post my blog’s stats every week on Sunday and sometimes I will also give links to good posts. Providing the stats of your blog will help your readers to know more about your blog. You also educate your readers with the information of a thing which they like and read. I’ll probably make a post soon on the advantages of showing stats of your blog to your readers. Anyway, the following are the stats of my blog till date(According To Google Analytics):

1. Date Started: August 10th

2. Date Google Analytics Was Added: August 13th (In the image it shows “From July 26-Aug25. But you won’t see any increase in the graph in July. I installed Google Analytics in one of my older blogs on that day and hence it shows like that. This blog itself was started only on August 10th.)

3. Page Views Till 25th August: 5504 Page Views (13 days)

4. Uniques Till 25th August: 3107 Uniques (13 Days)

5. Bounce Rate: 49.66%

6. Alexa: 465,475

7. Technorati Rank: 341,460

8. Subscribers: 33 (Guess it is pretty low)

9. No. Of Posts: 13

10. No. Of Comments: 157 (Nearly Half is mine since I respond to every comment)

Since this is a new blog, I don’t earn much. I’ll show my earnings when it reaches 3 digit figure. My next week’s goal is to get into Top 100,000 in Alexa, Top 100,000 in Technorati and increase the page views & subscribers.

Darren made a great post today on how to get advertisers. And I guess publishing your stats in your blog every week is one good way to get more advertisers. I have advertising in my blog. If you want to advertise, you can use the contact form. I’ll put an Advertise page soon and you can see the rates there. Till that you can see below:

125 x 125 Banner: $12

Both type of ads will be placed on the Top Right Column. I get nearly 5500 page views for 13 days which is around 11,000+ page views a month. So calculating the ad price, it is less than $0.50 per 1000 views. The $5 rate is only for September. Use the contact form so that you can get a link or banner in my blog.

Now let’s keep the advertising away. The main aim of this post is to share the stats with the readers. Share your blog’s stats in your blog with your readers. And if you can link back to or mail me the article, I will see it and make a comment.

    Rony, you are right. But since this blog is about making money, we have to explore the ways of earning and report it in the blog. Also I take blogroll and sponsors to be same. The only thing is that you get money to place them in the sponsors category and you don't when placing in the blogroll column. Banners are just like affiliate banners that we put in our blog. :)

    Shankar, I take your tip. I'm always trying to increase Google traffic. Since the blog is new, it has now only started to come up in the search engines. At present I get traffic from Social voting sites and Direct traffic. But I'm sure Google will start indexing my blog higher in the search. Thanks for your comment.

    If I can really give a honest tip, try increasing traffic from organic sources like Google, etc. That'd be very fruitful. I'm also working on that.

    May be I should do it as well... Let me do it once in every month ;)

    Pearl, 33 subscribers is good as you said but I expected to get more. Yes, my blog is stolen in mybloglog by a person called Santhoshje. I'm not able to get you on the campaign thing. Can you tell me more about it? It might be useful. :)

    I read your comment about your blog stolen on mybloglog and that was quite disheartening... why don't you start a campaign over there and bring that person in everyone's attention?

    Glen, I actually agree. Many good bloggers don't post on weekends. I just did this post because it cannot be posted on weekdays as it would provide no use to readers who would be searching for great content. Giving link love is also good. :)

    I have decided not to blog on weekends, I may decide to do some link love posts. It gives me time to write some posts for the rest of the week because I work hard ;)
