I’m very happy to tell that Blogging Tune has achieved PR5 which I never expected. Thanks to Shankar (He has got a PR5) and Nirmal(Waiting for the update) who told me the news. Google had been making some changes in the past few days which meant a PR change will be there soon and I didn’t expect it to change yesterday.

Google has updated the PR after a long time. I must say I’m really lucky to get a PR5. This blog is not even 3 months old and has received a PR5. I expected a PR4 but to my surprise I got PR5.

What I wish right now is that Google should not lessen my PR since the Google PR update is not over fully yet. I would be happy if it stayed at 5. I would like to thank all bloggers who linked to me. Also a big thanks to my blog readers.

If you are a subscriber of my blog, thanks for giving support to the blog. If you haven’t subscribed to the blog yet, please do it from here.

Yesterday I wrote a post by name Top 3 Free Keyword Suggestion Tools You Should Be Using. The content had the word “keyword suggestion tool” and other related words plenty number of times. I used those words to get Ads relevant to that word so that more visitors from search engine will exit my blog through those ads. But unfortunate the Ads that were displayed in the post had no relevance.

My friend Benedict of TechCorner was happy to help me. I added few codes and the ads that were displayed in that post had high relevance. Today I saw my AdSense earnings two times more. The relevancy of ads is very important if you want to earn a better income from AdSense.

Here’s what you can do to get more relevant Ads. First backup your blog and take all safety measures before doing any changes. Now, go to sidebar.php file and enter the following code:

<!– google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) –>

your existing code in the .php file

<!– google_ad_section_end –>

This will ignore the words in the Sidebar and will get you ads based on your content. Here’s an easy way to do section targeting. Your codes should look like this:(according to Google)

Section targeting

<!– google_ad_section_start –>

This is the text of your webpage. Most of your content resides here.

<!– google_ad_section_end –>

Though this is old news to few bloggers, there are still many who don’t(Till yesterday I didn’t know). You can also use the Google’s AdSense Help Center Solution. If you have not applied for AdSense, then I recommend you to Apply now. It is one of the best money makers for bloggers.
