I posted my blog’s stats yesterday and I will be posting a new one every Sunday. There are many reasons why I decided to post my blog’s stats. Posting your blog’s stats is ‘not just another post’. It can help in many ways. You can get things done by posting your blog’s stats. The thing I like the most is that it can even earn you money. So with no delay, here are the 5+1 golden things your blog can earn by posting stats:

1. Educate your Readers With Your Blog’s Information:

The main reason is to educate your readers with your blog’s information. After all they need to know something about the blog they read everyday. You should get in touch with readers and share your stats. By blogging you create a community around your blog. This community should talk about your blog and the stats in their blog and everywhere.

2. Get More Advertisers:

There are advertisers who don’t take their time to visit the advertise page. Few advertisers might even under estimate a blog. Your blog might be receiving thousands of page views, but what if no advertiser in seeing it? So when you make a post every week in your blog about your blog’s stats, then you are taking one step forward to get a new advertiser.

3. Increase In Subscribers:

Yes I hear you asking how this will increase the subscriber count. When the reader visits your blog, he/she might consider subscribing to it after knowing more about your blog. So when they see that you have “X” number of subscribers already, they might subscribe to your blog.

4. Gain Popularity:

Yes, when you say your blog receives “x” number of visits and “Y” number of page views(where X and Y are big numbers), then you get more popularity. More people will start talking about you in the IM conversations saying “Hey that guy gets a huge traffic!”. The more people talk about you,the more popularity you gain. I always used to wonder why people give a link to another blog’s stats’ post. I have been to few blogs that posted the stats recently and was surprised to see one or two link backs coming to the blog post. Yes, there are people who wish to share your blog’s stats with their blog’s readers.

There are bloggers who don’t post on the weekends. But those who post on weekends can post this. Hey Ram nice post I pretty much agree with you. Posting your stats make you crystal clear in front of your readers and it is a goos way to gain the trust of your audience

However for me its really difficult to compile weekly stats so I usually go for monthly stats

Dj, Yes I have seen you posting stats of a month. It is good that you post. If you have time, you can post once a week else try posting it twice a month or even once a month.
