I am a new user on twitter and just started to use twhirl to send my tweets and I am glad I did. The one problem that needs to be fixed is how often twitter’s servers go down. It’s hard to use twhirl if twitter doesn’t work.

I had tried Twhirl but looks like I am more comfortable with TweetDeck/Opera Twitter Widget/bit.ly bookmarklet(for links!)

I like the simple looks and clutter free interface(TweetDeck interface with all hose groups etc. is not that clean) of Twhirl though.

For people reading this comment, settings is at the top right corner. 2 options to the left of close option.

Great post!

I’m a huge advocate of Twirl over tweetdeck, but the constant dinging did get on my nerves. Didn’t realise you could switch it off!

One suggestion is I’d let your readers know where settings is located. I had trouble finding it at first, but overall great post
