Today is Blog Action Day, the most expected one by the bloggers. More than 15,000 blogs with 12,697,713 rss readers will be blogging about this. Blog Action Day is organised by Collis Ta’eed, Leo Babauta and Cyan Ta’eed. Many big blogs like Problogger and Copyblogger have participated and written a post in their blog about it.

How To Eliminate Plastics:

When we are talk about environment, we start to discuss so many things and one such thing that came to my mind was Plastics. Plastics play a vital role in the environment. If paper replaces plastics, there will be very less damages to the environment.

When we use plastics, it cannot be recycled very easily. So replacng it with paper in the places where it can be done, will be very useful. Here’s what you can do:

1. When purchasing something, ask for a paper bag instead of plastic covers

2. Make CD pouch with paper and eliminate plastics. You may be wondering how to do this. Here’s a video tutorial on how to do it:

3. You can use Biodegradable Plastics.

What is Biodegradable Plastics?

Biodegradable Plastics are the ones which get decomposed in the natural environment. In certain condition, the plastic degrades to a point where organisms can digest them. So the usage of Biodegradble plastics can help a lot in elminating the normal plastics.

4. You can also think of various other places where paper or some other environment friendly thing can replace plastics.

So avoid plastics and lead a good life. I wish “All the best” to the Blog Action Day team and the bloggers who are blogging about it. it’s great to see all bloggers working for a cause. Cheers to everyone.
