When you are thinking whether to write a content or not, or when you are sitting idle with no idea for a content, then think you are in one of the following positions and you will surely get a blog post idea:

1. Write like there will be no blogging from tomorrow
2. Write as if you will get a backlink from Boing Boing or Problogger
3. Write as if you will be hired by Blog Herald or Performancing after they read your post
4. Write as if your article will be stumbled any top stumbler
5. Write as if your article will be Dugg by the top digger or even by Muhammad Saleem
6. Write as if you will be picked by Brian for his next project after reading your post
7. Write as if you will get a guest posting chance in Lifehack or Lifehacker after you write a post in your blog
8. Write as if you be the next participant in the Bloggers face off at Daily Blog Tips
9. Write as if you are equal to Maki of Dosh Dosh in writing a comprehensive guide to any social site
10. Write as if you have a reader community like Liz
11. Write as if you will earn money like John Chow using any monetizing technique
12. Write as if your headlines are like the ones that Lyndon writes
13. Write as if you can report a news like Andy Beard does
14. Write as if you have co-founded a company at a young age like Neil Patel
15. Write as if all the other bloggers who I missed are your blog readers
You can produce great content only when you expect to achieve something high. Just a thought of the above situations can get you extremely good content ideas. Don’t worry about what others say unless it is a useful comment. Write what you know and what you are good at. Work hard and results will follow.
